I have been having a very active stay thus far here in New York, and I find my mornings are given to reflection and downtime to recharge for the day. But I have been taking photos! Below are a smattering, with captions where relevant.

A fave stop when I hit NY is Jimmy Carbone’s show Beer Sessions Radio. That’s him in the middle flanked by Steven Hallstone (left) and Brett Taylor, who’s working at Fifth Hammer now while opening his own brewery Wild East. You can listen to podcasts here; my stop will air next week. 

Circa Brewing, where we had lunch with Josh Bernstein.  

Here is Josh Bernstein (right), the hardest-working man in beer writing, along with Circa brewer Drew Kostic. (Drew was a lawyer for seven years before exchanging the wingtips for rubber boots.)
