Number Two
The North American Guild of Beer Writers announced their annual slate of awards at the GABF this morning, and this blog took silver for the second year running. Yay! I also got an honorable mention for my sexism article earlier this year. It was a bit of a slow year for my writing (no books, not so much freelance), and I only entered the two categories, so I’m feeling quite thankful to the judges.
Each year, the quality of entries rises, and as you can see from the winners’ list, the entrants are now international. Winning any award has become a mark of real accomplishment. So to the judges I offer thanks and to the winners, congratulations.
